CUSTOMER SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE ADVERTISING Duties The Times Herald Record is looking for a full-time person in a supporting role to provide operational sales and administrative support for a sales team. To serve as the support and backup for the sales team and to handle workflow according to established deadlines. Must be able to handle all ad order types accurately, assist sales with customer calls, placement, billing and/or changes. Must be able to work with support team on order entry, customer contact, changes, ad copy, scheduling, proofs, layout, etc... Special assignments as needed. Skills Self-motivated, work independently and in a team environment, well-organized, detail-oriented and have strong follow through. Excellent and accurate number and data entry skills are required. Good written and verbal communication skills. Multi-task oriented. Ability to work with tight deadlines and under pressure. Must be flexible with changing of tours as required. Customer service focused with good interpersonal skills. Knowledge in researching accounts by surfing the internet is a plus. Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of email and be proficient in all applications of Microsoft Office Programs.
